I know this is devoted to SignWriting as such; however, it occurred to me that it might be helpful to people interested in the history of writing sign languages just to see how many different approaches there are (or were) to writing sign languages. It may also give people without much exposure to this new field an idea of what is meant if someone says Stokoe notation, or one of the other systems (they slip my mind at the moment).
