Hi Everyone - After looking into some of the well-known email software, it appears that all these programs now have a way to place a picture inside an email message. AOL, Netscape, Outlook Express, and Eudora all have these features. Although Hotmail is a question at the moment, I suspect that you receive your hotmail messages through a browser, right? So if you set your browser to "Attachments Inline" or whatever...you should be able to see them inside the messages - at least I hope so.
