November 2, 1999 Hello Everyone! I know some of you are interested in changing the way you receive your email. Here is information on the Digest Form, and NoMail Form. At the bottom of this message, you will find instructions on how to resume normal mail. So if you want to stop receiving mail in the Digest Form, see the last paragraph :-) ______________________________________________ DIGEST FORM The Digest is compiled by LISTSERV on a daily basis and sent to subscribers who have their mail options set to DIGEST. It is a single message with all of the day's messages compiled in chronological order. For a subscriber to set their mail options to Digest, do this: Send this command in the body of your message: SET SW-L DIGEST To this address: ______________________________________________ NO MAIL An individual subscriber, wishing to read the messages from the web archive and not receive individual messages or the DIGEST version of the messages and still be able to post, must set their mail options to NOMAIL. Send this command in the body of your message: SET SW-L NOMAIL To this address: _____________________________________________ TO RESUME REGULAR MAIL Send this command in the body of your message: SET SW-L MAIL To this address: ______________________________________________ There are several other commands, and I will be happy to post the entire command list if you wish - All the best - Valerie :-) |
