Helo, everyone !
Just in case you don't know us yet we are the SignNet Group from the Science and Technology Museum of PUCRS (Catholic University from the state of Rio Grande do Sul).
Our project, here in the museum (called MCT), is:
- translate the captions to sign writing (we've done a lot of this, but the visual programming staff is thinking in how to add our SW texts);
- increase our sites (soon we'll give you news);
- promoting SW in the deaf schools so that when they come to visit the museum will be able to read the captions in their own language.
We are proud to tell you that a sign writing basic course is happening here, we began at 27 october and it will end at 15 December. Deaf and hearing people (interpreters and teachers of deaf) are very interested and it seems that is a "sign writing boom".
We've taken pics and soon it's possible we'll send them to you.
