I must say Valerie, it is a challenge. Seeing the thumb and any other finger directly toward or directly away from you is a challenge. I thought we had resolved this with a half/half hand with the dark half indicating the back of which hand. Adding this circle compromise, to me, might be confusing with the circles above the hand for open and close, like in "milk" or "understand" though I can certainly understand them. I would find it difficult, however, to be able to read a sign like "fine", where one needs to see that the "5" hand is used without being able to see all 5 fingers spread out. Having one as a circle certainly helps one understand that the thumb is toward you are away from you. It's a challenge... I'm waiting for other feedback. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
