November 14, 2000 Rather than making rules, it is better to trust your intuition - each sign has a certain feel. For example, in the attached diagram, the sign for Inform in ASL written correctly in both signs...but number 1 is much more intuitive - the fingers pointing back diagonal is perfect to show information in the head - number 2 doesn't feel like there is a relationship to the head... | ||||||||
