Please see attached diagram "rotation2.gif", which I believe was
written by Stefan...The "e" means "end position", and "s" means
"starting position"....

This diagram is excellent, because it shows that if you place the
ending hand position at the end, it shows whether you did a half
rotation or a quarter rotation:
