Well , this has been a very good experience for me. It has been fun studying the signs Stefan suggested for me to have a closer look at. ( see attached diagrams). Just for the fun I made an other sign "both" The left "C" hand slightly angled. I hope the sign "hole" ( hole in your sock) is better. For "gentle" I used the dictionary sign "kind" What do you think of #2 "kind?" I have also learned from you Charles, when you wrote about Stefan's sign #6 "both":"It is the most compact, readable and gives full information on starting point, ending point, articulation and movement" I will be thinking of that comment, whenever I make up a sign.
