For the DOS SW program, I would suggest something simpler. Why not create a
DOS batch file that can do the transfer automatically? The batch file can
query the user which drive to install the SW software, and then complete the
installation. Since the install could go to a standard directory
(drive:\SW44 or whatever), the user could easily delete it if it went to the
wrong drive.

I can come up with something if no one else has already or will already do
that.
