SignWriting List December 27, 2001 ANSWER, PART 2 RIGHT-LEFT PLACEMENT CAN BE WRITTEN AS ONE SIGN WITH A MOVEMENT ARROW... Not all Right-Left Placement is a movement. Sometimes several signs will stay over to the right or left for long periods of time... BUT... When there is a movement involved, then writing one sign with a movement symbol between the beginning and ending positions has several advantages... 1. Only one anchor is needed, rather than two 2. the movement arrow itself offers a fourth choice for an anchor:
