Dear SignWriting List Members:
Yesterday I received a telephone call from a reporter from the New
York Times Newspaper, which is one of our largest newspapers in the
United States.
Several years ago, one of our List members Rebecca Larche Moreton was
kind enough to put us in touch with the NY Times reporter. Thank you,
Rebecca!
So years ago, that reporter interviewed us at length, but then the
article was never published. It was submitted to the NY Times editor
for publication twice. The second time was a few days before
September 11th, and after that, they put the story aside, and wrote
about war instead ;-(
Well, I guess war is boring now! ....At least, they are considering
publishing the article on SignWriting again...When I see it, I will
believe it! ;-)
