I think the only thing you would need for SW would be to change the "simultaneous" sign to a "repeat motion sign".  Is that correct Valerie?

Subject: Spelling Question

I am hitting a challenging spelling question.  Can anyone help?  I am trying to write the sign for "telling a story" or "spieling" or however you want to look at it.  It starts with two open ASL 8 hands and closes to two closed ASL 8 hands while the extended finger/thumb of the closed 8 hand contact and then moves out.  This movement seems to happen around 3 to 5 times for the sign itself. How would I best spell that repetition.  I thought of taking the spelling I have and either placing the movement 3 times vertically or 3 times horizontally, but really the action stays in one place.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Stuart
