Hi Caroline!
Yes, I should say your animated signs written in SignWriting are cool! I
just visited your new SW Puzzles & Animation Site, and I think it is
wonderful :-)

Animated signs written in SignWriting are a good tool for teaching
SignWriting symbols. In the past, we experimented a tiny bit with
animation...enough to know that children seem to learn SignWriting faster
when they see a few animated signs.

For example, the three animated signs you have posted, "Home", "Lesson",
and "Deaf", show the use of contact stars. They give a picture of what we
are writing when it is not animated. Once a person sees the animated
version, the normally-written "non-animated" version comes alive.

Thanks so much for this, Caroline!

Valerie :-)
