When I opened my email this evening to find so many postings to the new
SignWriting List, I just about fell off my chair. What a difference a week
can make! None of us should take this list for granted...it was born
through a great deal of hard work and I want to thank Paul Cowley again for
everything. His gift came just in time...
Yesterday I received a long and detailed letter from a well-known school
for the Deaf. There may be well over 100 Deaf students in both the USA and
Canada learning SignWriting in the fall. I will be posting the letters from
the different schools soon, and also creating web pages for them. I am
hoping that the teachers will share their experiences with us in the future.
I will be sending Paul a gift of our SignWriting publications - a small
token of my appreciation :-)
