SignWriting
      Terminology

      1. SIGNWRITING
      PRINTING
Writing in block SignWriting symbols (typed by machine or written
      by hand).

      2. SIGNWRITING HANDWRITING
Writing SignWriting by hand, whether it be block symbols or cursive
      script.

      3. CURSIVE SIGNWRITING
When the Shorthand symbols are used as a daily writing system,
making it possible to connect the SignWriting symbols into a
      cursive script.

      4. SIGNWRITING SHORTHAND
Stenography system for professional sign language notetakers,
for recording sign language movement at speed.

      5. FULL-BODY SIGNWRITING
Writing in full stick figure drawings. Used by some teachers
of Deaf children, by some beginning signwriters, and in Denmark
      by researchers and interpreters.

Note: Both SignWriting Printing and Cursive
SignWriting fall under the category of SignWriting Handwriting,
if it is written by hand.
And, just like spoken languages, Cursive
      SignWriting is NOT shorthand stenography.
