Well, in the olden days, before electronic mail, I had students write to another group of students learning Spanish or English. It was like a mail service. I think there are so many ways in which we can create activities that will motivate students to use and learn signwriting. Once it becomes available in the computer, it will be easier to communicate with deaf people in other places through signwriting. We don't have enough children's stories in Spanish in the town where I teach, so I had my college students write children's stories in Spanish and donate them to the library. They did illustrations in color and they looked very nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful job they did. Now the children have a few more books. These are just some ideas. I don't even know if they're helpful to you, but sometimes is nice to have a place to brainstorm with ideas.
