Gabriel's School Albion Middle School and it is hearing school. There is
only one deaf boy who live in Albion to go there and have interpreter. But
I heard that there is no interpreter this year. I did meet one of
interpreter last year. The deaf boy was kinda dispoint because no
interpreter for him this year. That's sad because it is very hard for him.
Yes, They do have computer and student learn how and web to see web site.
They did print out your stories and Gabriel help them to sign from this.
Most student call him "HI CODA" because they know his mom is deaf.

How nice, Lourdes - Thanks for this lovely message, and yes...I did have
fun posting Gabriel's poem. What is the name of Gabriel's school? Is it a
mainstreaming school or is everyone hearing? His teachers must be getting a
crash course in American Sign Language :-)
Our web hits are 15,000 a day on average now. They range from 12,000 to
16,000 daily. Hits are not visitors, but I am told that is a lot, for a
non-commercial web site. Teachers have written to me to tell me that entire
classrooms are going up on the web and visiting our site now and printing
out stories.
Did Gabriel's class do that? I hope so!
Valerie ':-)
