"Chip" McGruder ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Chip! You have been super, informing us about all this! I know nothing about AOL. Eudora is great, because when you go through the Setup steps that I outlined in that message, then you get the attachment BOTH as a separate attachment, plus inside the email message, all at the same time. In other words...the picture that is inserted "is connected with" the attached file that is separate...the email message serves as a "viewer" for the picture - Eudora is outstanding. I could view pictures a year and half ago with Eurdora 3.0, and now I am using 4.0. I understand that their new version has better picture support still- so it is really building toward that new "visual era". That is why I think it is a shame for us not to tap into the "visual" technology that exists right now... Someday we will type directly in SignWriting in an email message, perhaps made possible because of Unicode, fonts, and other technological developments...all of that will take years though...so right now, the"pictures in email feature" will have to do! Thanks again - Val ;-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Valerie Sutton SignWritingSite...Lessons Online https://www.SignWriting.org Deaf Action Committee For SignWriting Box 517, La Jolla, CA, 92038-0517, USA |
