Good Morning SW List!
Yes...I know...the List has been very quiet lately...I have received
private messages from list members concerned that perhaps their names had
mistakenly been taken off the list, because they have not been receiving
any messages lately :-)
No...all your names are still there I assure you!!
The SignWriting List revolves around the school year. It is summertime now,
in the northern hemisphere, and teachers and researchers are on vacation.
The list will become more and more active as the new school year
approaches. By September, the messages will be flowing!
Meanwhile, I have a lot on my shoulders this summer...As you know, there
are six groups..three of them schools for the Deaf...all will be teaching
SignWriting to children in the fall...so I am quite overwhelmed with much
to do. I am presently trying to work on six different publications
simultaneously - it is a tad overwhelming!!
So...you will be hearing from me whenever I have a new publication to
report. At this moment, I am working on a new Special Feature for our web
site - it is a children's story written in Nicaraguan Sign Language by
James Shepard Kegl - It will be fun to read...even if you do not know
Nicaraguan Sign Language!!
