March 4, 2000 Dear SignWriting List- This is my SignWriting E-Lesson for today. It teaches the details of Surface Symbols. For those who are new to SignWriting...do not worry about these symbols. They are rarely used, and are more useful to researchers, for recording signs "exactly". I consider them "advanced symbols" and I only use them when I am writing storytelling from videotape, which requires lots of classifiers. | |||||
