Dear SW List members:

Ingvild Roald and I are working on a new web posting about Technical
Signs in Norwegian Sign Language.

A question arose about three different symbols for "the fist" in
SignWriting.....attached is a diagram showing all three "fist
symbols".

I have never seen the third one (thumg under) in ASL, but it is used
in other signed languages, such as Swedish Sign Language:
