In my oppinion it might make sense to keep the receptive viewpoint for the use in a dialogue - when someone is addressing me. Also, for the writing from a live signing - it might not always be time to do the trick of reversing. But maybe this is not so. I think time will show, at that we had better not throw anyting out untill things are more setteled.
