Three simple signs but located to each other so perfectly that you can read tehm like a flashcard ! I really had to smile - a big happy smile - In addition a question from the learner to the Linguist - the eyebrows up in the last sign - "possible" I would think of a question instead of an affirmation Can you explain to me why you picked eyebrows up ? But nevertheless a wonderfull, wondrfull example how simple we can present our experience : Yes, Writing Signlanguage is possible -- sure it is - if you practice every day - ha ;-) Stefan ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: Angus B. For those who don't know ASL (or > who can't read my spelling -- corrections on spelling, grammar and > punctuation are welcome), it could be translated in English as > "SignWriting is possible." I do not like having a design or letters on my chest. Posters are good as they could be distributed to libraries accross the country. On the poster perhaps a picture of two people signing to each other and underneath "A.S.L. L.I.F.E." (ASL Learning Is Fun Eh)Ofcourse this will be good for Canada!! It is compact enough to go on mugs as well. We could have different slogans. Tini. |
