Hi, Two deaf students working with me (Diogo, high-school - Ivana, junior undergraduate in education) found interesting to produce PowerPoint presentations in sign language, using SignWriting. They are very simple and sketchy (neither Ivana nor Diogo are experts in computers or PowerPoint), but I think they've done a good work. Besides, it was their own discovery that PowerPoint presentations are another good means to publish sign language texts (other than web pages). You can find the first two presentations in the address: https://sign-net.ucpel.tche.br/ppts I am addict to the idea that mistakes should not be hidden under the carpet, so I've published the presentations as they have produced them (so everybody can discuss openly possible errors that happen to be there). Yes, the texts are in brazilian sign language (LIBRAS), but maybe many of you can follow them. Ivana's email is: in case someone wants to send a message to her and Diogo. All the best, Antônio Carlos ------------------------------------------------- Antônio Carlos da Rocha Costa Escola de Informática - UCPel R.
