April 10, 2001 Regarding writing fingers pointed directly at the reader, we can use dots for fingertips too...although a little more accurate, you can see by the diagram, dots are more abstract than lines. Deaf children seem to read the line for the thumb faster than the dot for thumb....but both are correct: | |||||
