Hi stefan: Good luck in your course as you know our group here in Brazil gave SW classes, I think about 35 students (deaf and hearing) passed by our classes. Tips ? hints ? I don' t know, there are many comments to do: first, how is the sign language skills from your students ? Fluents ? Cause our classes were all in sign language and we decided to accept people who can communicate, but not fluent...we regret it cause these one were not able to follow the explanations. we had a better experience when the hearing one was an interpreter. We gave only a basic course, it means that we were focused in planes, point of view and handshapes, just a notion of simple movements and contacts to be able to read signs. We dream with an intermediary and advanced course, but at least now it seems very difficult to achieve. Also we gave a lot of exercises and practise so that people use effectively sign writing. We are here if you still have any question, ok ? SignNet - Brazil >The reason that I post this message is the following : Is there anybody - >who can share some of his SW-course experiences ? Some interesting ideas, >tips, tricks, experiments, funny tasks ... ?? |
