The kids work with pages in signwriting or texts from their signwritten books and they underline and annotate in different colors things like noun, verb, adj, adverb, pronoun as well as subject, object etc. This is something that could be done with ASL texts as well and might prove useful to someone like Cheryl, even more useful than a grammar lesson per se in SW. > > > > Just a thought. > > > > --Judy I comment the effort to "tag" ASL texts. Now we need to prepare them so that they can be tagged. This will be long doing but a good effort. I need to find a good ASL signer in my area to sit with for hours to simply start with "good" ASL and end with "good" English. It's like relearning ASL to voice interpreting all over again. |
