SignWriting List May 16, 2001 So in summary... TO SELECT A SIGN 1. Use the Tab Key to move the cursor to the left of the sign. 2. Type Alt-S for "Select". A big bracket will appear to the left of the sign. 3. Tab again. The cursor jumps to the right side of the sign. 4. Type Alt-S again. A big bracket appears on the right side of the sign. The sign is now "selected". TO COPY A SIGN INTO THE DICTIONARY 1. Select the sign in the document. 2. Open the dictionary. 3. Type the word for the new entry. Press Enter. 4. Type Alt-C for Copy. The sign appears in the dictionary. 5. Press the Escape Key.
