July 20, 2001 Charles...you are correct. The symbol with the straight thumb needs to be added to the symbol set in future computer programs. SignWriter 4.4 only includes the handshape with a bent thumb. Here is the way I would type those signs in SignWriter 4.4....If we write the positions with the bent thumb, does it hurt? I don't believe it changes meaning, does it? | |||||
