Your wife and children are lovely ;-) Yes. That's right. Computers have made our communication possible. Without the internet, and our web sites, we would not know each other! Not every school can afford to have computers for their students, so I can certainly understand that is a problem in Bolivia. BUT...there usually are some lucky people like me and you in each country, who DO have a personal computer. These people can act as diplomats...connecting schools in their country, with others around the world...Computers provide us with the opportunity to make the world a better place. So, I am planning to donate materials to your school for the Deaf in Bolivia. I am printing your books right now. I need your Web Report. While we are waiting for your principal to send us the web report, I would like to make a suggestion... Have you downloaded the Colombian version or the Nicaraguan version of SignWriter Shareware on the web? That will give you Spanish on the screen while you are using SignWriter. Download Shareware https://www.SignWriting.org/forums/software/sw44/download Shareware Instruction https://www.SignWriting.org/forums/software/sw44/sw44less If you can learn to type SignWriting by computer...then later, when another individual teacher has a computer, you can teach that teacher how to type. Then the teacher can type vocabulary lists in SignWriting and print them and then hand them out in the classes for the students...so it would be worth it, if you learn to type SignWriting. We need you to spread SW in Bolivia...we cannot do it without you ;-) Later, if you wish, I will be happy to create a Bolivian version of SignWriter, with a Bolivian Fingerspelling Keyboard, just as I have done for Colombia... -- Val ;-> ----------------------------- Valerie Sutton SignWritingSite: https://www.SignWriting.org SignWriting List Archives: https://groups.yahoo.com/group/sw-l/ To post a message to the SW List: | ||||||||||||
