Dear Amber,
You are teaching your daughter the same way homeschooling
parents teach their children 99% of their school material
and it is a highly effective way judging by the excellent
scores homeschoolers attain on standardized tests :) My
oldest daughter is a full grade level ahead of her public
school counterparts and my 2nd daughter is 2 years ahead.
My 2 year old is already doing kindergarten level work and I
have never taught elementary education in a school setting.
I have an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. I have no
teacher certificate nor have I ever taken any teaching
courses.
My dear Amber, I would say that you are doing splendidly.
