Actually Angus, this is another difference with Ghostview and 
Acrobat. Acrobat did not acknowledge the second page at all. It said 
it was a one page document. So the second page did not exist, even 
for viewing, in Acrobat...There are clearly differences between 
Ghostview and Acrobat...and that is understandable...different 
programmers and different budgets... 
 
Meanwhile, technology marches on. The new version of FileMaker now 
incorporates Acrobat features so that PDF files can be embedded into 
the FileMaker database...so the PDF format might become more readily 
accessible to users, as time goes by, built into other software, 
without necessarily purchasing Acrobat per se...so the PDF format 
itself is quite valuable.
