Vertical Writing, Diagram 6:
Here is an example of ASL, written by Dave Gunsauls. The translation
of the ASL is in English below the diagram. Dave places Riverside,
California over to his left side. He places NTID in New York over to
his right side. As you read down the columns, you can see this looks
just like the shifts in Sign Language:
