October 1, 2001 Writing Finger Trills continued.... A "finger trill" is when the fingers move back & forth quickly... opening and closing in an alternating fashion. For example, when a person is nervous, they might "drum" their fingers on the desk....that movement is called a "trill". Since there are two kinds of finger movement symbols, there are also two kinds of trill symbols: .....1. Squeeze-Flick Trills and....2. Hinge Trills. I will need two more diagrams.
