December 21, 2001 WRITING PPP MOUTH GESTURE, Part 2: So choices must be made.... The "p" movement can start with 1. pressed lips or... 2. protruding lips or ... 3. sucked-in lips, depending on the style of "p". You can choose to write the Exhale motion, or, you can forget that and write the air coming out of the mouth...after all, the exhaling could be assumed, since the air is coming out of the mouth! It can be written with a beginning and ending position, making a two-face sign. Or you can combine them even further so that one symbol represents the entire motion. Look at the attached diagram for examples. Choose whatever feels right to you.... | ||||||||
