Hi Everyone,
I'm a regular columnist for Silent News, an American Deaf newspaper.
Valerie Sutton, whom I am currently interviewing, suggested that I also
post some questions to the rest of you, since she felt that you would have
much to say.
I'd appreciate it very much if any of you interested in responding to
any
of these questions (coming up in the next e-mail), can respond by Thursday
morning, or Friday a.m. at the latest. This way, I can incorporate them
into the article I'm currently writing for Silent News. (You don't have to
answer ALL of the questions, that would be a bit too much, just answer a
couple or so)
You may prefer to post publicly, or to e-mail me (at
) privately.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from Deaf adults who regularly
use
SignWriting, as well as from parents of Deaf children or teachers and
administrators in schools for the Deaf who have tried this approach out for
at least several months, preferably a year; however, I welcome any and all
comments.
By the way, I'm used to reading Deaf English, so don't worry about
perfect
grammar, etc, with me! :-)
Thanks!!
Alexandra McDiamon
