Thanks for that - it feels wonderful to laugh :-))) Yes...there is a little magic and mystery behind new ideas - so perhaps there is something bewitching about it - but who needs a broomstick when you have the internet - ha! Wasn't that an amazing story about Sequoyah convincing the jurors to learn to read and write?! It is really rather dramatic - I doubt if I could succeed as well! But in regards to the resistance to SignWriting, I must say recently I have just been flooded with positive email - In the past two days I had 18 requests for SignWriting Information Packets, because someone (unknown to me) published an announcement about our Literacy Project in a newsletter that is read by educators. And everyone's email was positive, not negative - so maybe there is a change a foot!
