Welcome to the SignWriting List... and Good Morning! It is 7:05 in the morning here in La Jolla, after a big rain, and the sun is shining brightly. The old "SignWriting Email List" is officially closed. The first message was posted on October 14th, 1997, and the last archived message was posted on May 9th, 1998. There are exactly 100 archived messages. The SignWriting Email List Archive will always be available on our SignWriting Web Site. You can read these messages anytime, at this address: SW Email List Archive Directory https://www.SignWriting.org/email000.html This new SignWriting List, or SW-L, will have its own separate archive. Every message will be automatically archived, and we will be able to visit a web page to read those messages. Paul Cowley is setting this new archive up for us, and will announce it, when it is ready. Meanwhile, there are people who are still posting to the old SignWriting Email List, not realizing that the old List no longer exists. Of course this is no one's fault. We are just going through a "transition" :-) I will write personally to each one of these authors to ask them what they would like to do with their posting. I hope they will join the new SignWriting List and post it themselves! No matter what, I hope all of you will start posting anytime! All the best!
