To study how native signing Deaf children learn to read facial expressions in SignWriting...to see if this would enhance their knowledge of their native language? I think your messages have really pinpointed this area of needed study. Awhile back you posted an excellent email message, sharing with us your experiences in the classroom. When I read your message, I feel like I was there with you! The message gives good feedback on some of the issues that "popped up". So....I have now posted it on our SignWriting Web Site, for others to read: What Do Teachers Say? Private Tutor of Deaf Students, Ontario, Canada https://www.SignWriting.org/sw195.html Thanks Kathy, for all your great input - Valerie :-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Valerie Sutton at the DAC Deaf Action Committee for SW SignWriting https://www.SignWriting.org Center For Sutton Movement Writing an educational nonprofit organization Box 517, La Jolla, CA, 92038-0517, USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
