SignWriting can be applied to any sign terminology of course. It is just a writing system for any human movement. It is has no connection with any philosophy, other than the idea that we can write signs. Although some outstanding groups are writing different religious materials in different signed languages using SignWriting, I do not post the religious writing on our SignWriting Web Site. I do not want people to think that SignWriting is connected with any one religion. However, if others would like to start their own web sites and place the SignWriting documents there, that is fine of course! And of course, I will always give writers my technical support. Thanks for writing - Valerie :-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Valerie Sutton at the DAC Deaf Action Committee for SW SignWriting https://www.SignWriting.org Center For Sutton Movement Writing an educational nonprofit organization Box 517, La Jolla, CA, 92038-0517, USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
