Hi Dani :-)
But now they do know about SignWriting because of you! And your Sign Dic
program is exciting and we can talk more about that soon.
In regards to SignWriting in Argentina...I have had increased requests for
information on SignWriting from that country. It is true.... I do not know
anyone in Argentina who is truly using SignWriting yet...but I suspect the
seeds have been planted :-)
By the way, the most recent request for information was from a teacher from
this school:
ESCUELA 513 DE SORDOS E HIPOACUSICOS
Pasaje Husares 415 Planta Baja" A "
Bahia Blanca (8000), Buenos Aires,
ARGENTINA
She wants to use SignWriting at her school, but doesn't know where to begin
- which is very understandable! Perhaps your work in Porto Alegre, Dani,
could help her?
Or Ron...could you visit the school? I can put you in contact if you wish -
They might really appreciate talking to someone face to face...
Valerie :-)
