Sequential Finger Movement

The illustrations below are from the Brazilian Sign Language Dictionary.

 

FURTAR, ROUBAR

The sign begins with the 5-hand, which is dark because the signer is looking at the back of the hand.

The finger-by-finger closing movement starts with the baby finger, and then continues one by one into the fist in the second position.

While the finger action occurs, there is a rotation of the entire arm, written with the rotation symbol between the two positions.
