A Tribute to James

James Shepard-Kegl touched so many lives. He was a brave pioneer. One of his pioneering efforts, which he dedicated much time to, was writing Nicaraguan Sign Language, and because of this, there are now libraries of written literature in Nicaraguan Sign Language. This was never done before in history. James has provided reading materials for Nicaraguan Deaf students for generations to come. A monumental legacy.
