Hi Ingvild!

Yes, of course spelling will change...since there has never been a large
group of people writing signed languages over a long period of time
before....

For others information on the List, Ingvild is referring to this thesis on
the web:

Writing Signed Languages
In Support of Adopting an ASL Writing System
by Amy Rosenberg
https://www.SignWriting.org/rese010.html

Amy asked several questions...like Why write fingerspelling when you can
write English? and Why write SignWriting's punctuation symbols when you can
write English punctuation?

Those specific questions appear on this page of her thesis:

https://www.SignWriting.org/rese025.html

Those are commonly asked questions by the way... I would say they are the
fifth and sixth most commonly asked questions!

Thanks again for your comments, Ingvild -

Have a great day everyone!

Val ;-)
