I remember Bill Reese mentioned a translation system in AltaVista? Well
look at this amazing message from Brazil which I have pasted
below...actually there are two messages....I have never met this
person...first she wrote to me in Portuguese because she has trouble with
English, and before I could answer her, she writes again in English with
the help of a "translator"...that is amazing! I think the word "stack"
below means the SW "List"?!
Just wanted to ask Bill and others about this...do you think that it is
possible to write messages so well with such a translator?
And by the way, anyone from Brazil want to answer her? smile...You do not
have to!..just a thought...I will no matter what...

Subject: Re: SignWriting Information Packet
Hello Valerie............ ' -)
I feel very for the delay, but I do not know to say English.
Necessary to look at in the translator. Perhaps I wrote wrong.
Answering its question, yes, I would like to receive the package that voce
spoke, and to be part of the stack.
I liked them very sites that he showed to me. Still I find a little dificil
the writing of the signs, but I am studying.
The people of the stack are all of U.S.A.? Nao exists the possibility to
work in the site tambem in Portuguese.
Thank's for atencao,
