SignWriting List January 8, 2001 Dear SignWriting List - I posted a message earlier today to the SignWriting List, about the Proxy for our Annual Membership Meeting.... I made a mistake with the web page address....I am so sorry!! I am now working on the Year-End Report. Our organization is a "nonprofit organization" here in the US. I know other countries do not have nonprofit organizations. We are required by the US government to do a lot of paper work...since our organization is different than commercial organizations ...(we do not make a profit)...the government gives us a special tax status, but then we have to report to them too...so the Year-End Report is a part of the "end-of-the-year" bookkeeping and accounting. I completed the bookkeeping, but we are still working on different reports...
