Hello Caroline -
Your enthusiasm is certainly stimulating and I appreciate your interest in
SignWriting :-)

Actually, it isn't necessary for people to send their newsletters to me,
unless they want to, of course. You are all welcome to use SignWriting as
you wish. It is my gift to you and the world.

If you want to share with me, of course, I am always happy and honored when
people send me their work, but it is not a requirement at all :-)

And you are welcome to start your own SW Clubs without going through me -
There was one that started several years ago on the campus of Golden West
College in Huntington Beach, California. One day I received a message from
the "Golden West SW Club". I was so surprised and pleased. But I was never
involved with the club personally, nor would I want to be.

SignWriting is growing quickly now, and it has a "life of its own". I can
only stand back and watch. As for my role, I am supplying the books, videos
and software, the technical support, the SignWriting Web Site, and the SW
Literacy Project for schools. But any other projects, I will leave to
others :-)

So use SignWriting with my blessing - it is free for you to use as you
choose...

Valerie :-)
