The Hinge Motion is "knuckle joint only". But the Squeeze Motion involves the middle joints, plus any other joints that want to "join in the squeeze"....ha! And there is a third one...the opposite to squeeze, which I am calling "flick" or "flick-open". Squeeze....fingers move from an open position to tightly bent.
