I don't think it was in the least bit (well hardly, anyway) harsh. I think the post was encouraging. There have been times when I have said something which rubbed someone the wrong way and I had my head chewed off (figuratively speaking of course *smile*). It was not on this list, but it has happened and one can become discouraged. We each have our different sensitivies to things. I think that you encouraged well a discouraged listmate and that is something we all benefit from.
