Thanks Ron, for the above comment, and I have since received several other
messages telling me the same thing. I have learned that it can be Windows
that creates the problem - So if anyone has trouble printing SignWriting,
try this:
1. Read the manual that came with your printer to find out how your printer
"relates" to Windows. Find a section in the manual that discusses "printing
MS-DOS files" in Windows.
2. Read the Windows manual for other clues.
3. And if all else fails, find the web site of the company that made your
printer - you may find information there or a tech support email address to
write to.
Before now, I always assumed that the problems were within our SignWriter
program, but it shows you how complex programming is - there are a lot of
new developments that give us problems we could never foresee.
Anyway, I sure hope this helps some people!!
